Whitworth is an indie pop project spearheaded by producer and lead singer Owen Whitworth Ragland. Born in 2001, Ragland is a leading young talent in the world of hiphop and jazz production with credits including Jordan Ward, Damon Davis, and Mvstermind. A pianist since age 3, Ragland spent his teen years playing in local jazz clubs and composing. Whitworth is the product of Ragland's past musical experiences with his newfound voice. Live, the project expands into a five-piece band, bringing with it an energetic musical feel and captivating stage show. Since the release of Whitworth's debut EP “Down To Earth” in 2023 the project has gained over 20k monthly listeners on Spotify and completed a 10 stop national tour across the midwest and east coast. The group started 2024 with a bang playing SXSW and becoming a part of the Saint Louis SC Stadium soundtrack. Whitworth has collaborated with fellow indie pop artists Sleepy Soul, Chloe Berry, and Rei Kimura. A present example of St. Louis’ rich musical history, Whitworth is an act not to be missed!
