Filipina-Indian artist MANISHA writes for fellow lovers of lyrics and overthinkers of love. Much like her multicultural background, her music is a melting pot of influences, ranging from jazz and pop to musical theater. At the age of 17, she migrated from Manila, Philippines, to Seattle, Washington, where she had the opportunity to turn her passion for songwriting and performing into a full-time career. She attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she wrote, recorded, and released her debut album Sweet Until The Aftertaste. MANISHA aims to create community through her music—one that celebrates the quirky intersectionalities in all of us.
