LOUD FLOWERS BIO Loud Flowers features singer/songwriter Chris Livesay, drummer Chuck Wood, bassist Tommy Simpson, and recent addition to the group guitarist Peter Maxwell. The band’s acclaimed 2024 debut album was praised in a review by the legendary indie music magazine The Big Takeover as “Gritty and hard rocking. Biting looks at ideological self-doubt, cold-hearted executives, and MAGA bullying culture. A formidable remedy.” Loud Flowers plays all original material, artfully fusing elements of traditional rock and roll, punk, alternative, and folk into a sound that’s uniquely their own—and all delivered with a powerful, melodic edginess that reflects band members’ deep history in the Seattle music scene.
