Lucius Gregory Meredith is a father of four, musician, mathematician, computer scientist, poet, beekeeper, Tai Chi practitioner, and owner to Fiber the famous Australian Shepherd. As a mathematician he discovered the rho calculus, namespace logic, and the family of algorithms known as OSLF. As a computer scientist he developed the programming language rholang, the database architecture known as RSpace and was the principal architect for Microsoft’s BizTalk Process Orchestration.
His recently published poetry collection Silence and Surrender (Summer 2025, Pomera Press) explores spans the cosmological to the comical with a few pitstops in between. In music, as leithaus, he primarily focuses on the touch guitar playing both Strandberg and Aristides 8 strings tuned in a unique tuning he developed. He also plays acoustic guitar and has studied West African sabar drumming in Senegal with Senegalese griot Mapathe Diop.
