Jachen (pronounced "Yashen") Mackner is a performing artist originally from the PNW, who writes and produces her own indie synth pop music, with her debut album set to release later in 2026. She lived in Austin, TX for the past 5 years and recently performed at Hotel Vegas, Kickbutt Coffee, TexPop, and was a featured artist for the Convergent Arts Boho Social event at the East Austin Hotel. Jachens songwriting brings raw, real life experience met with originality, humor and quirk, some have even called her "A Working Class Pop Star Icon." She holds a BFA in dance from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA. Her new single, Waitress, available on all streaming platforms, speaks to everyone who has worked in the service industry, bringing sassy satire to the relatable world of waiting tables in this pop synth hit.
