HIWAVES is a collective of longtime friends with varying music backgrounds. Some grew up in school of rock, some grew up in school music and theater, but all loved the same music no matter the discrepencies between styles and sounds. Needless to say, their tastes meet in the middle when it comes to guitar music. The members include Luke Foti (vocals), Adam Romano (lead guitar), Alex Rousselle (bass), Raf De Ocampo (BGV, rhythm guitar, producer). Their sonic influences comefrom a variety of styles such as math rock, pop, jazz, punk, lofi, and funk. Most notable influences to the bands sound include CHON, Crumb, Joji, Origami Angel, and Woes (Singapore).
